The ACG Simulated Trading Room

A state-of-the-art trading room, unique in its kind in the region of Southeastern Europe, comes to life, true to ACG’s vision to provide transformative education to its students and to help reinvigorate Greece through education and knowledge.

Behind this project are the combined efforts of several ACG constituents, Faculty and Administration, supported by the significant funding of USAID and an anonymous donation, making this vision a reality.

The ACG Simulated Trading Room is built to offer its students a real-world trading experience. This state-of-the-art trading room is expected to broaden students’ knowledge of financial services, encourage and enhance student and faculty research output, increase employability of ACG graduates, as well as promote awareness of the global financial markets in Southeastern Europe.

Recreating a professional financial environment, the ACG Simulated Trading Room is supported by the latest trends in technology, including state-of-the-art hardware and software.

Besides serving teaching and research purposes, the ACG Simulated Trading Room will further enhance the academic reputation of the American College of Greece by establishing it as a highly sophisticated technological hub.

Moreover, it is expected to attract highly qualified faculty, alumni, and donors, and to become involved in collaborations with firms and other academic institutions.

Overall, the Simulated Trading Floor provides a real sense of technological sophistication, bringing financial markets to the students’ fingertips through cutting-edge software and hardware.
