President’s Welcome
Welcome to the website of The American College of Greece, the online home of Europe’s oldest and largest, comprehensive, US-accredited academic institution.
Here, you can learn about ACG’s three educational divisions: Deree– undergraduate programs in liberal arts and sciences, business, fine and performing arts as well as graduate programs in the arts and sciences; Alba Graduate Business School – MBA and MSc as well as extensive Executive Education programs; Pierce – a premier, co-educational, PK – 12 school offering a Greek-based national curriculum and an International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.
You can hear directly from our students and alumni, review the backgrounds and research interests of our faculty, and explore our three campuses – Aghia Paraskevi, Downtown Athens and Spata.
For our current students, the site is a portal to the technology resources of today’s collegiate experience. For our more than 69,000 alumni in Greece, the United States and around the world, the site offers a way to stay connected, be informed and take advantage of all that ACG has to offer even beyond graduation.
As you explore our site, you will discover what makes ACG a unique center of intellectual stewardship in one of the world’s most historic and cosmopolitan capitals – Athens, Greece.
Founded in 1875 by Congregational women missionaries from Massachusetts, this year marks a momentous occasion for ACG as we celebrate 150 years of excellence in education. From our origins in Smyrna to our current position as a leading educational hub, ACG has evolved into an independent, multi-faceted institution serving over 8,000 students from Greece and more than 86 other countries.
Our legacy is reflected in the remarkable achievements of our alumni worldwide, whose contributions stand as a testament to the transformative power of an ACG education. As we look ahead, we remain committed to nurturing the next generation of leaders, inspired by the legacy of those who have come before them and ready to continue making a meaningful impact on the world.
