The ACG Information Resources Management (IRM) department provides access to information resources, supports their use, and serves as a center for engaged learning. Staff located in the Deree Main Building and the Communication Building collaborate and consult with faculty, students, and staff to provide a learning and living environment enhanced through rich IT services.  The Library homepage provides access to the online catalog, a rich collection of electronic resources, and information about ACG’s Library services. Academic Computing

IRM believes that the effective use of technology transforms teaching and learning. The Academic Computing division of IRM is responsible for helping faculty and students incorporate technology into the learning process, and continually evaluates emerging technologies for pedagogical value.

Specifically, Instructional Technology can help instructors:

  • get ideas for updating a course,
  • learn about new technologies,
  • learn how to best use existing technologies,
  • find a solution to a teaching concern,
  • plan a technology-enhanced project,
  • find resources needed to carry out a project, or
  • evaluate the impact of technology on teaching.

Computer Labs

Information Technology (IT) Computer Labs offer the campus community access to computing resources and a variety of software that support learning, scholarship, and creative endeavors at ACG. Open Access labs and Classroom labs are available at various ACG locations. There are also numberous computer stations available at the College library. Please visit the IT Facilities section of the web site for more information.

Email and Network Accounts

Campus email and network accounts have been created for the entire College community. ACG uses Microsoft’s live@edu email system for all campus email communication. If you do not have the information related to your account, please contact the IT Help Desk at [email protected] or the Student Success Center. You may also visit the IT offices located on the 4th level of the Deree Main Building or 1st level (room 1105) of the Communication Building.

Information Technology (IT) Help Desk

Questions about College office computers and software, accessing the campus networks (wired and wireless), and any IT problems that may arise may be directed to the IT Help Desk or use the online Service Request form.

Course Management System

Blackboard is the College’s learning and course management system. For more information, request help at [email protected].

The Student Portal (myACG)

myACG Portal is the tool for course registration, accessing transcripts and schedules, class rosters, entering grades and other useful information that is recorded in the College’s enterprise resource planning software, Jenzabar EX. Users may log into the myACG Portal directly using their ACG ID and PIN. Please contact the IT Help Desk at [email protected] or the Student Success Center if you experience difficulty logging into the myACG Portal or have any questions.
