Lecture Description

The creative world of fashion is built upon a fast-paced, competitive industry. Talent, intuition and innovation are required for both designers, as well as the communication professionals that represent their work. Robin Meason has been instrumental in establishing emerging designers, and is now responsible for the Public Relations of Balenciaga, fashion’s hottest brand according to Lyst. In her talk to the ACG School of Graduate and Professional Education, she will discuss her experience in the fascinating world of fashion communication, and the Need to be Fearless.

Selected as a BOF 500 “Catalyst” shaping the fashion industry, Robin Meason is a fashion PR consultant based in Paris, that collaborates with and promotes individuals who are driven by authenticity and put creativity and quality to the forefront of their work. Through her public relations agency Ritual Projects, she has been representing the brands that are rewriting the codes of the fashion industry, from Y/Project to GmbH, bringing together experts from fashion, film, photography and art to undertake consulting and marketing projects. Recently, Robin Meason joined the luxury fashion house Balenciaga, as their worldwide PR Director.
