Position: Graphic Design Associate or Full-Time Faculty

The Frances Rich School of Fine and Performing Arts seeks an instructor for an Associate Lecturer or F-T faculty position in Graphic Design.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required.
  • MFA in Graphic Design or Visual Communication highly desirable.
  • Teaching experience, ideally at a US or a UK higher education institution.
  • The area of expertise should cover main design disciplines such as typography, editorial design, poster design, corporate design, branding, packaging design, wayfinding and signage.
  • A professional practical record and profound theoretical knowledge in the respective fields.
  • Relevant samples of work demonstrating the candidate’s depth and breadth of experience, as well as his/her conceptual and research/creative abilities.
  • Ability to undertake administrative duties.
  • Innovative approach to contemporary trends in the field of Graphic Design, including up-to-date knowledge of industry software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Position: Executive Director, Development

The American College of Greece is seeking a candidate for the position of Executive Director, Development. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Vice-President, Advancement.

Required and preferred Qualifications:

  • MA/MS degree from an accredited European, US or UK institution of higher education.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in development or relevant position like sales.
  • A measurable record of developing relationships, closing deals and fundraising.
  • Experience developing and managing an effective CRM syste
  • A healthy network of contacts who can advance ACG’s goals
  • Strategic thinking, organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communications skills, both in writing and orally.
  • Fluent in Greek and English
  • Results oriented with time management and prioritization skills
  • Highly collaborative, team oriented with strong interpersonal, networking skills. No job is too small or too big attitude.
  • Excellent presentation/negotiation skills.
  • Mobility and flexibility to travel

Duties and Responsibilities:

Executive Director of Development

  • Identify, qualify, engage, solicit and steward prospects of $1 – $999k in Greece and abroad
  • Cultivate and maintain strong CRM systems and moves management processes
  • With VP manage prospects of $250K in Greece
  • Lead relationships with Greek foundations and partner well US Director of Foundations and Major Gifts
  • Identify new funding options
  • Identify engagement opportunities for prospect engagement
  • Lead donor development cycle prospect to stewardship
  • Partner with Executive Director Advancement and Alumni Engagement to identify and cultivate alumni giving and Corporate giving
  • Partner with ED Alumni to develop senior class gifts tradition for PIERCE and Deree
  • Coordinate marketing and communications for development program
  • Partner with peers in Greece and US to meet annual fund goals and the historic campaign goals
  • Participate in working committees as needed
  • Travel for meetings, appointments and events with prospective donors
  • Participate in alumni relations events and activities as needed
  • Participate in the preparation of donor reports for the president and BO
  • Guide Grants reporting
  • Support the VP of Advancement
  • Support new development initiatives as per supervisor’s request
