ACG Goes Smoke-free

Over the last two years, ACG has launched a smoke-free awareness campaign reiterating its commitment to staying tobacco free and enforcing the national anti-smoking law for educational institutions (Article 3 of the Greek Law No 3730/2008) in effect since 2009. The law declares that all types of smoking, including vaping, are completely prohibited on all campuses and the residences, in both indoor and outdoors areas.

The purpose of the campaign is two-fold: to remind all ACG community—from students, to faculty, to staff and employees, to parents, to alumni and guests across all divisions and campuses —to keep our indoor and outdoor areas smoke-free and to motivate smokers to make a fresh start and choose life instead.

The awareness campaign is spearheaded by the Office of Public Affairs and the ACG Institute of Public Health (IPH).

Let’s maintain our campus fresh while advocating a healthier lifestyle for all!
