What You Will Study – Curriculum

The Logistics and Supply Chain Management program aims to promote a broad, analytical, and highly integrated study of business with a specialization in the field of supply chain management. The specialization focuses on providing in-depth knowledge and understanding of: logistics and supply networks, the economic, socio-cultural, legal, and political environments within which supply networks operate; and key supply chain functions and processes in business systems. The degree also prioritizes the development of students’ personal competencies necessary to lead corporate initiatives, and the enhancement of lifelong learning skills and personal development to contribute to society at large. The program also includes an optional component which is a credit-baring internship placement in the field of logistics and supply chain management.

Deree students are eligible to receive two degrees: a US degree based on the College’s NECHE (New England Commission of Higher Education) accreditation, and a UK degree awarded by The Open University (OU) based on the College’s validation partnership with OU.

Curriculum

The program requires a total of 121 credits. Generally, students begin their studies by enrolling in Liberal Education courses as well as a few major courses. They must complete 43 credits in liberal education core/electives, 72 credits in the concentration core, and an additional 6 credits from any academic area as elective courses.
