Students accepted into the International Honors Program receive tuition reduction scholarships as follows:
- Students with a CI of 3.50-3.84 receive a 35% tuition reduction, applicable to all courses taken as part of a student’s major (including Honors and non-Honors courses)
- Students with a CI of 3.85-4.00 receive a 50% tuition reduction, applicable to all courses taken as part of a student’s major (including Honors and non-Honors courses)
If a student already receives a tuition reduction, then the Honors scholarship percentage is adjusted so that the full scholarship percentage amounts up to the percentage that the student is entitled to on the basis of his/her CI. The IHP scholarship is adjusted periodically, based on the student’s latest CI.
In order to continue receiving the Honors scholarship, students must remain in good standing in the International Honors Program, as defined in the IHP Student Handbook. The Honors scholarship continues to be granted up until the completion of the student’s primary degree program (typically when the student has accumulated 121 US credits in the same program of study).
Please note that scholarships associated with IHP students follow the general scholarship provisions of the College as stipulated by the Office of Financial Assistance and Planning.
