The American College of Greece is grateful to the A.C. Laskaridis Charitable Foundation for its generous donation of scholarships for Deree students majoring in Entrepreneurship Management. In the 2019-2020 academic year, scholarships were awarded to four students to empower them with the tools to build their businesses and lay the foundations for prosperity in Greece! We are pleased to announce that the A.C. Laskaridis Charitable Foundation continued its support in the 2020-2021 academic year awarding scholarships to three deserving students.
The A.C. Laskaridis Charitable Foundation believes in the importance of offering access to unique educational opportunities for deserving, promising young students. Their programs focus on supporting employment and entrepreneurship across Greece, as well as on finding long-term, system-changing solutions for Greek families who face severe disadvantage.
The A.C. Laskaridis Foundation Expendable Scholarship (ACLFES) helps promote entrepreneurship at a university level, as well as further attract talented and educated young Greeks who will act as catalysts of change, establishing their own businesses, positively impacting the economic climate, as well as create new job opportunities. Students are equipped with the skills to emerge as higher-quality, better-prepared graduates, executives and entrepreneurial professionals ready to be leaders of a creative, compassionate and globally competitive Greece.
