For the ninth consecutive year, the Office of Public Affairs secured the attendance of 48 Deree students at the Delphi Economic Forum IX, held April 10-13, 2024. The students enjoyed the unique opportunity to attend a plethora of Forum sessions, get exposed to new developments in a variety of sectors, hear innovative ideas and network with high-level speakers and global leaders.
Once again, Deree was represented in multiple discussions: The Director of the ACG Institute of Global Affairs, Professor Constantinos Filis, coordinated a number of panels on international relations, peace, and defense, and Professor Kelly Gerakoudi, a panel for energy regulations in shipping.
It was my first time attending the Delphi Economic Forum, and I have to admit it was a remarkable and positively overwhelming experience. From attending pioneering and interesting panels to connecting with like-minded individuals, DEF IX was truly a unique opportunity for growth.
