In the wake of the devastating earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria on February 6, the ACG community has come together by launching programs to support relief efforts. The college has provided individual and group counseling in English and Arabic to members of our community and offered a range of resources for students, staff and faculty coping with stress. We have also reached out to doctors on the ground in the devastated areas of the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey.
We believe in the importance of our community and in the power of People Helping People. As part of our relief effort, we have launched a fundraising initiative to help those individuals and families that have been affected by the earthquake. The funds raised during this campaign will be given to support the Istanbul Medical Chamber, MSF-Médecins Sans Frontières, Turkish Kidney Foundation and HeyvaSor.
Any help, no matter how big or small, will make a huge difference to those in need. Join the effort!
