The purpose of the online event is to provide graduate and undergraduate psychology students insight on the personal and interpersonal dynamics that are generated during the treatment of patients with borderline personality organization. How can the combination of psychodynamic / transference based psychotherapy and modern psychiatry be effective when major symptoms arise and the risk of compulsive self-destructive behaviors are constant and imminent? The presenters will attempt to shed light to this major clinical challenge.
