Bio

Dimitris Skalkos was born in Athens in 1971. He studied political sciences at the Panteion University in Athens and completed postgraduate studies in international relations at the University of Kent at Canterbury. He is a PhD candidate in institutional economics at the University of Peloponnese. He works in the management of European structural and investment Funds. He served as a special advisor for the Ministries of the Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Development and Competitiveness. He has authored three books on political theory and political economy. His articles appear regularly in various publications and he is a member of the editorial board of The Books’ Journal.
