About the event

A special event for Pierce Alumnae who originate from Smyrna inviting them to preserve their collective memory and interconnect Smyrna with their personal stories. The event is part of the Memories Workshop organized in 2021 by the ACG Advancement Office and on the occasion of the tragic anniversary of the Smyrna catastrophe, inextricably linked to the history of our school.

Through storytelling and the presentation of archival material, we will discuss giving, women’s education, innovation and inclusion that characterized Pierce as they experienced it and capture the soul force that connects generations through time when noble visions and ideals govern them.

The workshop will be moderated by Christiana Lambrinidis, Pierce ’76 Alumna, playwright, director and human rights activist, who hails from Smyrna.

To attend, please contact Tina Roumeliotis at [email protected] or contact +30 210 600 9800 (ext. 1379).

Registration is open until Monday, December 5, 2022.
