An online discussion organized by the Deree Student Association (DSA)

As we find ourselves in a second lockdown due to Covid-19, the Deree Student Association (DSA) organizes an interactive discussion focused on the progress to date in dealing with the pandemic as well as on tips for focusing on physical and mental health, relishing quality time alone or simply enjoying life.

Speakers’ bio

Eleni Vousoura, MS in Counseling Psychology & Psychotherapy, Program Coordinator

Ptychion, University of Athens; MA, Psychology in Education, Teachers College; MS/MPhil/PhD, Clinical Psychology, Columbia University

Dr. Eleni Vousoura earned her PhD in clinical psychology from Columbia University in New York. She has a broad-based clinical training, ranging from community and college counseling settings to hospital outpatient clinics and inpatient medical and psychiatric facilities. Her research interests lie in the field of women’s mental health and psychotherapy outcome and process research, with an emphasis on culturally sensitive psychological interventions for at-risk, underserved populations. She maintains a private practice as a licensed clinical psychologist and serves as a consultant and trainer in the area of women’s reproductive health.


Amina Moskof, Psychologist, Psychotherapist

MSC, Post MSc in Counselling Psychology

Amina Moskof is a counselling psychologist working in private practice and in the refugee field as a trainer and supervisor. She got her bachelor’s in psychology from Deree College, and her MSc and Post MSc in the practice of Counselling Psychology from City University, London. She also trained at The Institute of Family Therapy, University of Birkbeck.  She is a candidate member of the Hellenic Psychoanalytic Society.


Kosmo Kalliarekos, Managing Director, Baring Private Equity Asia, ACG Board member

MBA, Harvard Business School

Kosmo Kalliarekos served on the ACG board from 2005 to 2014 and following a one-year sabbatical, re-joined the Board in 2015.  He is currently a Managing Director of Baring Private Equity Asia based in Hong Kong since 2008. Mr. Kalliarekos is a member of BPEA’s Investment Committee, chairs the company’s Portfolio Management Committee and co-heads the Education vertical sector. He was a founding member of The Parthenon Group, a strategic advisory firm based in Boston, where he founded and headed the company’s Education Center of Excellence. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and received an MBA with High Distinction from the Harvard Business School.


Nikolaos Takis, Assistant Professor, Director of the ACG Counseling Center

BA, MS, PhD, National University of Athens

Dr. Nikolaos Takis earned his PhD in clinical psychology from the National University of Athens. After working for several years in the field of prevention of mental health of the community in the municipalities of Filothei and Imittos, he joined the Detoxification Unit (18 ANO) of the Psychiatric Hospital of Attica. Dr. Takis maintains a private practice as certified psychodynamic therapist and trainer in Psychodrama. He is a member of the Greek Psychological Society and the Hellenic Association of Psychoanalytic Group Psychotherapy, and member-in-training of the Hellenic Psychoanalytical Society. He is currently the President of the Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organisations and was a member of the executive board the Professional Association of Greek Psychologists.
