The Art History Alumni Talk is an event that helps current students learn about their field of study through previous students of the department that are now professionals. For this talk, our speaker is Angelina Giovani. She is an art historian and provenance researcher who works with private collectors, museums, and the art trade to help them reconstruct the artworks’ narratives. She also is an Art Business Mentor for Finito. She has been appointed as a Provenance Research Specialist at CAfA (Court of Arbitration for Art), and recently, she launched the Collections Provenance Rating, an innovative tool that helps assess the state of documentation of a collection and offers recommendations based on the risk level identified.
