Mount Hymettus – Let’s get together for a great cause!

When: Sunday, March 17

10:00 Meet at the Church of Profitis Ilias at Ilioupolis (entrance from Marathonomachon Street)

12:00 Gather at meeting point for departure

Where: Mount Hymettus

Organized by: Center of Excellence for Sustainability (CES) – Office of Public Affairs, in collaboration with the ACG Marketing & Communication Department and Σ.Π.Α.Υ (Σύνδεσμος Προστασίας & Ανάπτυξης Υμηττού).

This spring we have the opportunity to have a direct impact on our natural environment and ‘get our hands dirty’ in a good way!

In collaboration with Σ.Π.Α.Υ (Σύνδεσμος Προστασίας & Ανάπτυξης Υμηττού) we will be planting 200 plants on Mount Hymettus as part their reforestation efforts in this, much affected, area. The activity will last about two hours.

The event is open to all ACG students, faculty and staff.

It is mandatory that you sign up at the Office of Public Affairs (office 209, at Deree) or at [email protected].

Kindly note that you need to bring your own water/refreshments and snack.

Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes and do not forget to bring a hat and/or anything that is “ACG branded”.

*Please note that as a follow-up to the planting activity, we will be returning to the mountain on Sunday, April 14, to water the plants.
