The International Center for Academic Integrity (ICAI) works to identify, affirm, and promote the values of academic integrity among students, faculty, researchers, and administrators. ICAI was originally founded to combat cheating, plagiarism, and academic dishonesty in higher education. Its mission has since expanded to include the cultivation of cultures of integrity in academic communities throughout the world. ICAI offers assessment services, resources, and consultations to its member institutions, and facilitates conversations on academic integrity topics in venues ranging from international conferences and local, customized workshops. For further information about ICAI, please visit www.AcademicIntegrity.org

The conference aims to initiate a dialog on integrity, more generally, and academic integrity, more specifically. Those who are deeply vested in education but also in the broader links between it and the corporate and social spheres will want to support this dialog. Themes to be covered at the conference:
Integrity as a societal value
The development of ethical decision-making capacities
Courage and integrity in the face of corruption and injustice
Veracity in education and assessment
Educative responses to breaches of integrity
Inspiring, developing and supporting integrity “Champions”
Research in academic integrity
Other presentations that focus on academic integrity and the broader conversations surrounding it
