The Frances Rich School of Fine & Performing Arts at Deree-The American College of Greece is building a pool of qualified instructor candidates for any future openings in the area of Digital Image.
Required Qualifications:
Postgraduate degree in Visual Arts with a focus on photography, digital media, new genres, and related fields. PhD or MFA helpful. Eligible for Ministry of Education registration number.

Position: Web/SharePoint Developer

The Information Resources Management of the American College of Greece is seeking a full time application development specialist to join its information services team. The successful candidate will work as part of a small team will be responsible for the development and support of the College’s web sites, enterprise systems, online applications and the Intranet as well as play a crucial role in the development of new ones.
Required Qualifications:

  • First degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems that includes programming/development as part of the degree plus three years of related programming working experience (working portfolio may be requested).
  • Proven experience using the SharePoint platform including the ability to provide technical support and maintenance, assessment and implementation of new capabilities, software upgrades, and a long-term perspective on the relationship of SharePoint technology to the college.
  • Proven coding experience using the .NET Framework, ASP.Net, SQL/T-SQL, LINQ, and XML/XSLT is considered a must.
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript along with experience with client-side JavaScript libraries such as JQuery.

Position: Junior Systems Administrator

The Information Resources Management of the American College of Greece is seeking a full time Junior Systems Administrator to work as an integral part of the routine network administration operations of IT department. Under the supervision of the Director of Technology Services, he/she will be responsible for the administration and management of campus academic servers and systems that support Campus Network Services and the overall campus administrative and academic network for students, faculty, staff, and administrators.

Qualifications / Special Skills Required:

  • First degree in Information Systems/Technology or equivalent. Post-graduation related working experience will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent customer service attitude, patience and strong communication skills.
  • Experience with Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, group policies, and organization units.
  • Experience managing network storage, virtual servers, writing scripts to maintain systems and software on workstations and servers
  • Experience with end-point protection (virus, spyware, etc.)
  • Knowledge of multi-user operating systems, and equipment configuration
  • Knowledge of authentication, network services access policies and related internal and external network security considerations.

  • Makes daily decisions in the process of performing daily system administration tasks to support systems used throughout ACG by students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
  • Analyzes, assesses, determines, and proposes production system configurations and changes.
  • Installs, configures, and maintains servers, systems software, backup of servers, disaster recovery, documentation of resources, optimization of server performance and reliability.
  • Creates and maintains scripts to update systems, deploy software, images, and updates for student, faculty, staff, and administration workstations
  • Provides systems level support for applications and client workstations, including creating and maintaining images for campus workstations
  • Troubleshooting a variety of IT issues including user and enterprise applications.
