Dr. Galanakis joined the Master or Science in Organizational Psychology at the American College of Greece in September 2021.

His research interests include psychological well-being, positive emotions, work stress, teamwork, motivation, job satisfaction and work behavior. He has lectured at international and Greek Psychology Conferences and has published more than 50 original scientific papers in international scientific journals. He has participated as a lead researcher in 7 international research projects. He teaches Psychology courses at the Panteion University of Political and Social Sciences, the University of Thessaly, the University of West Attica, the Hellenic Open University, the Medical School of Athens and ASPAITE. He is the author of 7 books (Occupational Psychology, Stamoulis Pub., Conflict Management, Patakis Pub., Handbook of Psychometry, Topos Pub., Hapiness Now, Kritiki Pub., e.t.c.)

He is vice president of the Hellenic Society of Positive Psychology (EETHEPSY). At the present time, he occupies the position of Special Scientific Personnel (EEP) with specialization in Management and Personnel Psychology at the National Center for Public Administration and Local Government (EKDDA).
