Ioannis Chasiotis is an Assistant Professor of Finance and Economics at the School of Business and Economics, The American College of Greece. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance and Accounting from Durham University Business School, UK.

Dr. Chasiotis has several years of international teaching experience (United Kingdom, China, Greece) at the university level, both in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. He currently teaches Financial Management, Principles of Finance and Principles of Microeconomics.

His research interests and published work are in the areas of payout policy, capital structure, investment decisions, ESG and climate change risk. Dr. Chasiotis has published in high-quality international refereed journals such as the British Journal of Management, European Financial Management and the International Review of Financial Analysis.
