Alexandros Maragakis

Dr. Maragakis received his PhD in clinical psychology for the University of Nevada, Reno and is a licensed clinical psychologist in the United States. He joined the Department of Psychology at the American College of Greece in 2021 and currently teaches in the MS in Counseling Psychology & Psychotherapy program.
His research interests include improving access to mental health services, treatment development, and improving multidisciplinary care approaches. He has published over 25 peer-reviewed publications, 14 book chapters, and 4 books. He has also received multiple grants related to training mental health providers to help expand access to mental health services to underserved populations.
