Where: Biomedical Research Foundation Academy of Athens (BRFAA) (hybrid format)
The “Women in Biomedical Sciences (WIBS)” event will take place at the Biomedical Research Foundation Academy of Athens (BRFAA) on Saturday, June 18th 2022. The aim is to inspire and help guide the future generation of women biomedical scientists, i.e. young women (junior high, high school and university students) who wish to study or are working towards a degree in the field of Biomedical Sciences (e.g. biology, chemistry, pharmacy, medicine, biomedical engineering) and wish to pursue a successful career in research, academia and/or industry.
ACG Professors Alexia Polissidis, Paraskevi Papadopoulou,and Stella Apostolaki are on the Organizing Committee and among the Speakers of this event.
