Value-based education is an approach to teaching that works with values. It creates a strong positive learning environment that enhances academic attainment and develops students’ social and relationship skills that last throughout their lives. The objective of this workshop is to raise participants’ awareness of the importance of different thinking skills that should be developed among learners. By the end of the workshop, participants will have an understanding of the types of activities that can be incorporated into their value-based lessons in order to promote lower and higher order thinking skills.
