About the event

The “Me and AI Student Session 2022” addresses the contemporary issues raised as technology intertwines with philosophy, with emphasis on artificial intelligence. Students at both the graduate and undergraduate level will examine topics, such as the moral implications of robotics, the use of algorithms in human resource analytics and how this affects our privacy, how certain philosophical theories from antiquity to the present day can assist our understanding of artificial intelligence, the impact of technology on communication, and the consequences of technological advancement on human affairs, to name a few. Both the student presentations and the discussion to follow will raise awareness of fundamental questions and concerns as derived from the use of technology today, and they will attempt possible solutions or suggestions for a constructive symbiosis of human and artificial intelligence in the 21st century.
