BA in Theatre Drama, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki; MA in Drama and Theatre Studies, Royal Holloway University of London; PhD in Philosophy-Theatre and Cinema, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

Dr Tsamouris joined the Theatre Arts and Dance Department in January 2020. Her current teaching involves Contemporary Drama since the 20th century, as well as Ancient Greek Theatre.

Her research interests include modern European and American theatre of the 20th and 21st century, theatre and cinema, theories of phenomenology and ageism, feminist theatre. Her PhD is on Harold Pinter’s oeuvre in theatre and cinema and her Post-Doc (American Studies, Aristotle Univ. of Thessaloniki) is on Edward Albee and modern American women playwrights.

She has contributed with papers in Greek and International Conferences and her articles have been published both in Greek and international scientific magazines.

She is a member of the ‘Harold Pinter Society’, ‘HELAAS’ (Hellenic Association for American Studies), ‘Hellenic Association of Theatre and Performing Arts Critics’, ‘Hellenic Theatre Studies Association’ and ‘Centre of Theatre Semiology’.
