At the Deree School of Business and Economics, our mission is to educate and inspire the next generation of business leaders. By combining academic rigor with real-world experience, we equip our students with the knowledge and skills that are necessary to succeed in today’s global business landscape. Our faculty are experts in their fields bringing both academic excellence and industry experience into the classroom. Case competitions, consulting projects, and internships give our students the opportunity to apply their business skills and gain real-world experience. Our state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced computer labs and a Simulated Trading Room, support our students’ learning and development and prepare them for successful careers in industry as well as graduate studies in Economics and business-related fields in top universities around the world. Rigorous external review through NECHE accreditation along with validation by the Open University – UK, safeguard the quality and warrant the international relevance of our programs.

The Advisory Council of the Deree School of Business and Economics serves as a strategic partner to the school, providing guidance, insight, and industry perspective to ensure that its programs remain relevant, innovative, and aligned with the evolving needs of the global business environment.

Composed of distinguished leaders from the corporate, financial, and entrepreneurial sectors, the Advisory Council advises the school on strategic priorities, curriculum relevance, industry trends, and opportunities for collaboration. In essence, the Advisory Council bridges academia and industry, helping the School of Business and Economics deliver education that is both academically rigorous and professionally impactful.
