ACG Expresses Gratitude to Mr. Antony Contomichalos for his Generous Donation to the Centennial Fund

The American College of Greece (ACG) extends its heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Antony Contomichalos for celebrating with us 100 years of presence in Greece by becoming a BRONZE benefactor of our 100th Anniversary Gala Dinner, which took place on December 1st, 2023, thus leveraging education for individual, economic, cultural, and social impact.

Mr. Antony Contomichalos was born in Athens, Greece, and graduated from Deree in 1981. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of The American College of Greece while he has been on the ACG Global Alumni Board since 2017. He earned a master’s in applied economics with a specialization in finance from the University of Paris IX Dauphine in France.  Antony is the founder, president, and key managing principal of MacArthur Capital Group, a company established in 1998, which has grown into a private, full-fledged, long-term investment firm and one of the largest owners of retail condominiums in New York City. Prior to founding MacArthur, Antony worked for 15 years with Credit Agricole (now Calyon), one of the major international banking groups. He is a member of the board of the Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce, where he also served as Treasurer. Antony was also president of the Hellenic American Bankers Association and has served as board member of several organizations in the past.

His generous donation to the Centennial Fund will further expand the scholarship support they offer in support of ACG students, leading to positive social and economic change.

Thank you, Mr. Antony Contomichalos, for sharing our educational vision and for being a valuable partner as well as an inspirational donor!
