ACG Spring Blood Drive: The ACG Community Supports the Blood Needs of NIMTS and Agios Savvas Hospitals

Staying true to ACG’s community service tradition, we recently welcomed volunteers for a three-day Blood Drive in support of NIMTS and Agios Savvas Hospitals.

From April 8 to 10, 2025, members of the ACG Community (students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents), along with ACG partners and friends, came together for a cause that meets a critical national need; contributing to the approximately 550.000 blood units required annually by Greek hospitals.

In total, 52 volunteers successfully donated blood, out of the 91 who signed up to contribute.

This vital initiative was organized by ACG Health & Wellness, the Office of Sustainability-Public Affairs, and the Office of Student Affairs, with support from student volunteers, including the ACG Sustainability Leaders, the SNF Scholars’ Organization, and the Deree Student Association (DSA).

As one of ACG’s longstanding volunteer initiatives, the biannual blood drives are a powerful and important reminder of the difference we can make together.

Because ACG Cares!
