The American College of Greece is proud to announce that Ms. Rania Assariotaki, Senior Sustainability Manager, Office of Public Affairs, has been elected to the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) Board of Directors.

The purpose of the Board is to advise, govern, oversee policy and direction, and assist with the general promotion of AASHE. Ms. Assariotaki’s term begins in January 2022 and she is the only representative from a European educational institution to have been elected to the Board.

“I am really honored to have been elected and I am looking forward to working together with likeminded and inspiring professionals to advance sustainability in higher education globally. This achievement is a testament to ACG’s overall sustainability efforts and commitment to educating and empowering our students, the leaders of tomorrow, to act as engaged and responsible citizens and professionals in order to help create a more socially, economically and environmentally sustainable world.”, says Ms. Assariotaki.
