Business Week ’15: Today’s Business Leaders Meet the Next Generation

DEREE Business Week celebrates its tenth year on campus and brings together top business professionals & renowned academics with students to explore perspectives on Export-Led Growth, at DEREE March 30-April 2

This year Business Week focuses on Export-Led Growth, and presents DEREE students and guests opportunities to learn from leaders in the business world about the skills and methods needed to enter industries and markets of their choice and even start their own businesses, while networking.

George Koutsolioutsos, Chief Executive Officer of the Folli Follie Group, a leading Greek retailer which has also proved a major success overseas, will be this year’s Keynote Speaker at DEREE Business Week, joining dozens of other celebrated business leaders and academics at the annual forum hosted by DEREE.

His Excellency Jan Versteeg, Ambassador of the Kingdom of The Netherlands to Greece will deliver the opening speech on Monday, March 30, introducing the Embassy’s innovative meeting point for Greek and Dutch businesses, Orange Grove. Also sharing their insights and experience will be Mr Alexandros Macridis, CEO of Chryssafidis SA and Trustee of The American College of Greece, Professor Christos Gortsos, Secretary General of the Hellenic Bank Association, and Dr Miranda Xafa, (DEREE 1973), CEO of EF Consulting.

The high-profile industry event, organized by students from the Academic Societies of the School of Business at DEREE-ACG, enjoys excellent participation, and has succeeded in fostering the sharing of knowledge, ideas and best practices between business and academia by bringing together ACG business students, faculty and alumni with distinguished industry professionals and academics from different fields of business. Participants can look forward to engaging presentations, panel discussions, and interactive workshops.
