Gregory Birbil, a Greek-American creative director with a successful 40-year career in advertising, will visit the campus on Thursday, October 23, to share his experience with our students. The presentation “40+ Years in Global Advertising” will be heldin the Center for the Arts Auditorium at 13:40.
Gregory Birbil was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Greek parents and studied Fine Arts and Advertising at Pratt Institute. After his studies, he joined McCann Erickson, one of the world’s largest advertising agencies and a leader during the golden advertising days of Madison Avenue. Birbil worked for the agency for more than 40 years, serving in positions such as art director, creative director, manager and CEO in various countries around the world, including Japan, South Africa, Mexico, the UK, and Greece.
