Dr. Anna Diamantouli joined the Department of English and Modern Languages in 2019. She has taught courses in the areas of American literature and Academic Writing. Her current teaching includes such courses as the Making of America: Literature to 1865, (Re)writing America: From Realism to Modernism, and the American Experience in Fiction.

Dr. Diamantouli’s particular research expertise lies in the post-revolutionary period and embraces transatlantic writing, the literature of slavery and captivity, and the representation of North African culture and American literature.
