About the concert

This concert program, presents an exceptional opportunity to feature the prestigious AENAON String Quartet (members of the Athens State Orchestra) in collaboration with two faculty members, pianist Christine Tokatlian (AEGEAS fellowship recipient) and soprano Maira Milolidaki . The repertoire includes Ernest Chausson’s Poème for violin, string quartet, and piano, his Concerto for violin, piano, and string quartet, and Ottorino Respighi’s cantata Il Tramonto for soprano and string quartet. This diverse and refined program will also provide a valuable performance platform for the young violinist Antonis Mandylas, alongside internationally renowned soloist Jannis Georgiadis. This event offers a prestigious, high-caliber performance opportunity that would enhance the institution’s cultural outreach efforts.
