Haris Vlavianos, an award-winning contemporary Greek poet and Professor of History at The American College of Greece, will present his first novel, "Το αίμα νερό" (Patakis Publications) on Thursday, April 3, at 20:30, at IANOS bookstore. After having published 10 collections of poetry, various essays on literature, and a history of western philosophy in 100 Haikus, Haris Vlavianos now explores the painful nature of family ties in "a novel of 45 acts". Thanasis Valtinos, novelist, Dimitra Christodoulou, poet, Ioanna Naoum, Professor of Modern Greek Literature at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and Vangelis Chatzivasileiou, literary critic, will discuss the book during the presentation.
