ACG, remaining faithful to the principle of “Not to be served but to serve,” contributes to the effort of the non-profit foundation DESMOS by collecting essential supplies for the victims of the recent devastating floods in Thessaly. The supplies will be delivered and distributed by DESMOS.
We kindly invite you to offer any of the below-listed items and supplies:
Cleaning Supplies
- Gloves
- Masks
- Garbage bags
- Brooms
- Metal dustpans
- Metal brushes
- Chlorine
- Detergents
Food
- Canned goods only
- Olive oil
- Disposable utensils
- Water bottles
Hygiene Products
- Baby wipes
- Antiseptic wipes
- Insect-repellent body sprays for children & adults
Clothing
- Socks and underwear (only new)
- Athletic shoes and boots (can also be used, but in good condition)
The collection will take place from Thursday, September 14 to Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the Pierce Theater Lobby (for Pierce), Office of Public Affairs* (for Deree) and Quality Office (for Alba).
* The Office of Public Affairs is situated near Starbucks and above the Deree Faculty Lounge
