Tim Green

Learning Design and Technology

Prof. Tim Green, is a former K12 teacher who has been a professor of educational technology and teacher educator at California State University, Fullerton , since 1999. For five of these years, he served as the Director of Distance Education at CSUF. He is the author of articles and books and a presenter on integrating educational technology, instructional design, and online distance education. Two recent books include Making Technology Work in Schools 2nd ed (Green, Donovan, & Green, Routledge) and The Essentials of Instructional Design: Connecting Fundamental Principles with Process and Practice5th ed (Brown & Green, Routledge). He is passionate about working with schools and districts on visioning and implementing change – especially technology initiatives. He received his PhD in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University.
