
Lara Bachmann-Tabouratzis
Learning Design and TechnologyDr. Lara Bachmann-Tabouratzis has a PhD and a Master’s degree in Communication Science from the University of Lugano (Switzerland). She has been working in the eLearning field as researcher and course developer since 2001, and has a long experience and passion in training Faculty in Instructional Design and the use of online platforms. During her studies at the University of Lugano, Lara has worked as teaching assistant and researcher in the eLearning field, developing numerous projects. From 2006 until 2010, she was working at Cisco Systems as Web Analyst/Developer, and Digital Marketing Manager. From 2010 until 2015, Lara was coordinating the Hellenic American College’s distance learning projects, and was taking care of student and instructor online training, the administration of the Institution’s eLearning platforms, and was teaching two online courses (Internet Ethics and Digital Marketing)
In 2017, Lara started working at the ACG as Distance Learning Coordinator, Instructor for the Online Faculty Training and Instructional Designer. In 2022, she was assigned the role of Educational Technologist at the ACG Online Education Hub. Her research interests focus on the dynamics that can contribute to student success in online education.
