B.A., Mathematics, University of Crete, Heraklion; M.S., Pure Mathematics, University of Crete; Ph.D., Pure Mathematics, Michigan State University

Georgios Psaromiligkos, Ph.D., is a mathematician specializing in harmonic analysis, real analysis, and geometric measure theory. He completed his undergraduate and master’s studies in Mathematics at the University of Crete before earning his Ph.D. in Pure Mathematics from Michigan State University in 2020, under the supervision of Alexander L. Volberg. His doctoral dissertation focused on weighted embedding theorems on multi-trees. From 2021 to 2023, he held the Patricia Caldwell Postdoctoral Fellowship at Virginia Tech. Since 2024, he has been teaching mathematics at the University of Thessaly, where his courses have included real analysis, calculus, topology, group theory, probability, and partial differential equations. His research explores harmonic analysis, singular integrals, weighted inequalities, and the connections between Fourier analysis, geometric measure theory, and geometric configurations of points. His publications include work on restricted Falconer distance sets and multi-parameter Carleson embeddings, appearing in journals such as the Canadian Journal of Mathematics and Revista Matemática Iberoamericana. He has received research and academic fellowships from the American Mathematical Society, Michigan State University, and the Foundation for Research and Technology–Hellas (FORTH). Since summer 2026, he has been a part-time instructor at Deree – The American College of Greece.
