Continuing a long-standing biannual tradition, the ACG Community joined forces for a meaningful cause as part of the ACG Community Service Days.
From October 22 to 24, 2025, students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, partners, and friends participated in the three-day Blood Drive to support NIMTS & Agios Savvas Hospitals and AURORA, an organization aiding patients with hematological diseases.
During the event, the Aghia Paraskevi campus opened its doors to welcome volunteers eager to make a life-saving difference. In total, 109 volunteers successfully donated blood, out of the 116 who attempted to donate, helping meet urgent national needs for blood units and bringing hope to those in need.
In addition, in collaboration with the Hellenic Red Cross, the event raised awareness about the importance of bone marrow donation, also collecting saliva samples from volunteers who might be potential matches.
The Blood Drive initiative was organized by ACG Health & Wellness, the Office of Sustainability-Public Affairs, and the Office of Student Affairs, with support from the ACG Sustainability Leaders and the Deree Student Association (DSA).
As a community-driven educational institution, ACG is proud of the compassion shown by its members, who continuously demonstrate how collective action can make a lasting impact on the broader community.
Because ACG Cares!
