With courses delving into Environmental Management as well as Tourism and Sustainability, students get exposed to the contemporary issues of management, protection and conservation of the natural environment, in combination with the principles and best practices of tourism as a form of business activity. Throughout the minor, students develop an understanding of the symbiotic relationship between the tourism industry and the management of the natural environment, as well as the importance of creating sustainable business models for the tourism industry while respecting natural resources.
