Chara Chioni-Chotouman holds a PhD in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure. During her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, she was a scholarship recipient from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Faculty of Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is the author of two monographs titled Victim’s Rights in Criminal Proceedings and The offence of Rape. She has participated in educational programs and delivered lectures in Greece and abroad. Her research interests include substantive criminal law, criminal procedure, and human rights.
