Dr. Kelly Gerakoudi is an Assistant Professor in Shipping Management at Deree – The American College of Greece. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from London Metropolitan University and both an MBA and a DBA from Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University. With over ten years of experience in the shipping industry, Dr. Gerakoudi has been teaching in the Department of Shipping Management since 2022, where she leads courses such as Introduction to Shipping, Port Management, International Shipping Policy, Management Principles, and Human Resource Management. Her research encompasses blockchain technology, financial analysis, and decision-making within the maritime shipping industry, as well as shipping stock price forecasting and sustainability in maritime practices. She actively shares her expertise as an advisor to the Shipping Society at Deree.
