Tatiana Chalkidou joined Deree – The American College of Greece in 2013. Her dual appointment reflects her extensive experience in the sport, recreation, and tourism industry in both Greece and the USA. She earned a BSc in Physical Education and Sport Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, School of Physical Education and Sport Science. Dr. Chalkidou also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and an MSc in HRM/HRD from the University of Leicester, and a Ph.D. in Health, Leisure, and Human Performance from Oklahoma State University. Her instructional responsibilities encompass courses in Tourism and Hospitality Management, as well as courses in Sports Management, whereas her research interests intersect with tourism and sport management.
