After a PhD focused on electroacoustic composition, I have remained engaged in this field, writing works for fixed media and performing them widely on loudspeaker orchestras. I then expanded my practice into sound design and sound art, creating soundtracks for experimental films and gallery installations in collaboration with a wide range of artists. I have also explored the links between sound walks, soundscapes, and new technology/coding, creating urban sound installations via smartphone apps and GPS tracking (funded by Onassis Culture Center as part of Medea Electronique). Most recently, I have been engaged in live improvised performance, combining acoustic instruments with live electronic systems, which is work I hope to record and release.
