Vasileia (Vassia) Stefanou is an Assistant Professor in the Information Technology Department, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, at Deree–The American College of Greece (ACG). Dr. Stefanou holds a PhD in eResearch & Technology Enhanced Learning (Lancaster University, 2021), an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction(Heriot-Watt University, 1995), and a BSc in Business Administration/Computer Information Systems (Deree-ACG, 1994). She has been teaching at Deree–ACG since 1996 and currently serves as the advisor to the Academic Information Technology Society. Dr. Stefanou teaches courses in the Information Technology Department, the Management Information Systems Department, and the Master’s in Learning Design and Technology program. She has presented her research at various academic conferences and published in several peer-reviewed journals. Her research interests include Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, digital humanities, design thinking, gamification, instructional and learning design, e-learning, blended learning, technology-enhanced learning (TEL), and the application of GenAI in education.
