Antonis Klidas

International Business, Tourism and Hospitality

BSc in Business Administration, Athens University of Economics and Business; MSc in International Hotel Management, University of Surrey; PhD in Hospitality Human Resource Management, Tilburg University

Antonis is currently Associate Professor in International Business. He served as department head of Management and International Business from September 2018 until August 2024. Previously, he served as Department Head of International Business from 2011 to 2018 and as MBA Program Coordinator from 2009 to 2011, both roles at Deree. Before, Antonis was lecturer of Management and Marketing at the Department of Social and Cultural Sciences at Tilburg University in the Netherlands from 2002 to 2007 and a Research Fellow at the Institute for Research on Intercultural Cooperation at Tilburg University from 2002 to 2003.

Antonis obtained his PhD from Tilburg University in the Netherlands following a Marie Curie Fellowship from the European Commission. His research interests focus on tourism management and international business education.

Antonis is currently teaching courses in international business management and cross-cultural management. He was the first student from a Greek educational institution to participate in the global X-Culture competition with his class in fall 2022 and the X-Culture Academy in spring 2024.
