About the event

The biggest sports management conference and one of the biggest in Europe, Front Runners in Sports Management 5.0 is a free-to-attend conference organized by the experienced team of ActiveMedia Group, the multi-awarded sports marketing agency in Greece, and the Deree Sports Management Program and Sports Management Student Society. It takes place on Thursday, December 7, Friday, December 8 and Saturday, April December 9, 2023.

This year, the conference will be delivered in a hybrid and online format. It will host esteemed speakers from national and international sports organizations who will share insightful information relevant to the various fields of the ever-growing sports industry. Kings, Bucks, Manchester City, FIBA, WWF, Loughborough University, Bergamo University will speak at the conference.

Front Runners in Sports Management 5.0 serves as a platform for promoting Sustainable Development in the field of sports. This year’s conference will feature insights from sports ambassadors of the MOTODYNAMICS Group, including the best Greek female racewalker of all time, two-time European gold medalist, and bronze world champion, Antigoni Ntrismpioti, the best Greek pole vaulter & 4th Olympian in Tokyo, Emmanouil Karalis, the Olympic bronze medalist in sailing in Rio and 8th Olympian in Tokyo Pavlos Kagialis, and the Greek sailing champion Giannis Orfanos.

The Drive Change Speaker Contest Powered by MOTODYNAMICS invites all applicants to prepare a compelling 10–15-minute presentation on one of the following sectors: a) Innovation, or b) Sustainability, or c) Leadership combined with the field of sports. The college professors and the executive committee members will ensure a rigorous and fair process of evaluating nominations. The 1st place winner will receive 500 euros and an exclusive opportunity to participate in the 2023 conference. 2nd place will receive 300 euros and 3rd place 200 euros. The surprises don’t stop here as the top three winners will also have the incredible opportunity to meet some inspiring and accomplished MOTODYNAMICS athletes.
