About the event

On a full moon night with views of Saturn, Professor Manolis Plionis, Department of Physics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki; Director and President of the BoD of the National Observatory of Athens and member of the external advisory Board of the Center of Excellence in Sustainability-ACG, will offer a lecture on “Modern Cosmology in the era of the James Webb Space Telescope”. The lecture will be followed by an impressive astrophotography presentation and a night sky observation, with telescopes provided by the Hellenic Amateur Astronomy Union.

The participants will enjoy a piano performance by pianist Nick Venner.
