About the Event

The Athens Social Sciences Forum is an annual student conference that provides a platform for students to present and discuss their academic and research work in the Social Sciences and related disciplines. Co-organized by the Sociology and International Honor Societies of Deree – The American College of Greece (ACG), and supported by the Student Association for International Affairs (SAFIA), the 6th Athens Social Sciences Forum brings together undergraduate and postgraduate students from ACG and Greek public universities. The Forum provides students with an opportunity to present high-quality undergraduate and graduate research papers, research-based or creative individual and course projects, Senior Year Theses, and Master’s Theses, while engaging with fellow students and members of the academic community. By bringing together students from different institutions and disciplinary backgrounds, the Forum seeks to showcase and celebrate student research, promote interinstitutional collaboration, and provide space for dialogue and meaningful exchange of ideas.
